Polish Beach Volleyball Championships

600 tons of sand and two beach volleyball courts were setup overnight at Nowy Rynek in the centre of Torun as part of Plaza Gotyku (translation Gothic Beach), Polish beach volleyball championship eliminations.

600 tons of sand and two beach volleyball courts were setup overnight at Nowy Rynek in the centre of Torun as part of Plaza Gotyku (translation Gothic Beach), Polish beach volleyball championship eliminations. A large viewing area for 500 people was available together with running commentary from some of the games and groovin summer beats. Girls and boys dressed in beachwear played out match after match to qualify for the Polish beach volleyball championships. The event was organised AZS UMK Torun with support from Torun town council other organisations and sponsored by Bella.

Patryk Fogel and Tomasz Wieczorek took first place in the mens qualifications, Urban Katarzyna and Wiatr Joanna in the womens.
